Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma believes people who call the club "boring" are just jealous of their success in the Premier League this season.
Jose Mourinho's playing style came under scrutiny after the club's 0-0 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, with home supporters chanting "boring, boring Chelsea" throughout the 90 minutes.
Mourinho subsequently hit out at his critics - insisting they want "football on the moon, with no goals" - and Zouma has echoed his manager's sentiments, with the Blues just two wins away from being crowned champions.
"Other fans are jealous because their team is not top of the league and they want to be top of the league like everyone wants to; that's normal," the 20-year-old, who can also play in midfield, told Sky Sports.
"Everyone wants to beat you so for us we have to be concentrated and be focused. The most important thing is that we keep going and keep winning points.
"I don't like suggestions we're boring but supporters can say what they want, we just have to play our game.
"I think we play the same but more defensively because we know that everybody wants to beat us and we are focused on only the points.
"There's a target for everybody, we are almost there. We have to win the two next matches. We are very determined - all season we've work very hard to win this league."
