Born in Huntingdon on 17 September 1993, and with the club since he was an Under-8, Todd is a very quick right-back, comfortable on the ball and tenacious in the tackle. He played in the youth team while still a schoolboy.
He is capable of scoring goals from distance as he proved with a rocket in the 2011 Reserve League national play-off final which Chelsea went on to win.

Toddy was also an integral part of the side that won the 2012 FA Youth Cup and along with the captain, Nathaniel Chalobah, he ended the season as part of the first team squad that flew to Munich for the Champions League Final. Another young player taken on the summer visit to the United States.

Toddy, who was named as captain of the Under-21s at the beginning of the 2012/13 season, scored his first goal of the campaign during a 4-1 win against Crystal Palace, shortly before in November 2012 he joining Preston North End on loan.

While at Deepdale he made three League One appearances, as well as featuring twice in the FA Cup. On 9 January he joined Championship side Blackburn on loan for one month and made three starts and one sub apperance before returning to London.

Shortly after returning to Chelsea, it was announced that Kane would be re-joining Blackburn on loan until 16 April, and after impressing in the five performances he made, the deal was extended until the end of the campaign.
As the season drew to a close Kane featured in every league game and played a crucial role in the club preserving their Championship status.

In June 2013 it was announced he would spend the whole of the coming season back on loan at Blackburn, where he enjoyed a fantastic start to the season, establishing himself as the first-choice right-back.
He scored his first goal for the club in a 5-2 win against Barnsley and added a second in his final appearance for the club, a 4-2 win at Birmingham in April

An injury sustained early in the New Year limited his involvement during the second half of the season, although he did feature regularly from the substitutes' bench, as well as starting certain matches.

After starting the 2014/15 season with Chelsea's Under-21 team, he moved back out on loan on 15 November, this time to League One Bristol City until 8 January when it was announced he was moving on loan to Championship side Nottingham Forest until 25 May. He made seven appearances while with Bristol City.

International
Kane played regularly for England Under-19s and was called into the Under-21 squad in the 2013/14 season without playing.
