Stipe Perica signed for Chelsea in August 2013, moving from NK Zadar in his native Croatia.
The forward made his debut for Zadar in September 2012, and went on to make 23 appearances, scoring 10 goals.
He was part of the Croatia side eliminated at the knockout stages of the Under-20 World Cup in Turkey, where he made three appearances and scored one goal.
He spent the 2013/14 season on loan at NAC Breda in the Netherlands, scoring six goals in six starts and 20 sub appearances. The loan was extended for the first half of the 2014/15 season and after a further three goals in 9+2 appearances, Perica moved on loan to Serie A in January 2015, joining
